100th Anniversary of Scouting
100th Anniversary Celebration – February 8th, 6-8 PM, Abell Service Center (BSA Midland Office) – A very special milestone in the history of the Boy Scouts of America awaits you! Join the celebration as the Buffalo Trail Council celebrates the 100th Anniversary of Scouting at the council headquarters on the night of February 8th. Hot Dogs, Scoutmaster Cobbler, a campfire are all a part of the festivities. Not to mention, we will be opening the time capsule that was buried at the office on the 75th Anniversary of Scouting in 1985 and we will be creating a new one on this night as well! See what was inside, add your piece of history, and join the celebration! The event is Free, so bring all of your Scouts and family members! - 100th Anniversary Gala Event – April 30th, 6-8 PM, UTPB Duck Pond – Come celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Scouting with your fellow Scouts and Scouters from the Buffalo Trail Council! Bring a picnic meal, chairs, blankets, and be ready for a variety of activities. Challenges for Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts will take place, as well as fun for the whole family.
