Lone Star District

The Lone Star District serves Borden, Glasscock, Howard, Mitchell, Scurry and Sterling counties.

Regular Meeting Schedule

District Committee Meetings – Second Thursday of each month, 12:00 noon (Except June and July). Location TBA since this is a lunch meeting, we will rotate locations. Please call the Big Spring office at 432-263-3407 to RSVP and to get location details.

District Commissioner Meetings - 1st Thursday of each month (except June and July) at 6:30 pm., EASC.

District Roundtables (Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturing):

  • Snyder - 1st Wednesday of each month ( except June & July) at 5:30 pm. at Jaramillo's Restaurant

  • Big Spring - 1st Thursday of each month ( except June & July) at 7 pm. at the Big Spring Service Center.

Holidays may cause these meetings to be the week before or after so keep in touch and watch the mail for reminders etc.

  • Snyder Fish-A-Thon – April 12th, Towle Park Pond, Snyder. It is once again time for the 12th Annual Snyder Fish-A-Thon! Bring your Scouts, families, and friends to Snyder, TX and enjoy a day full of fishing and prizes! The pond will be stocked with catfish and perch, and prizes will be given away every hour for the biggest fishes weighed in! Scout Troops or Packs from all over the Buffalo Trail Council are welcomed to this event and to camp overnight at the park, too. See you all there! Click here to download a flyer (PDF document).
